Sensory Saturday at the Field Museum
Families can enjoy a sensory-friendly morning in the Crown Family PlayLab once a month.
The Field Museum in Chicago hosts Sensory Saturdays once a month from 9 to 10 a.m. The next event is March 7.
Families can enjoy a sensory-friendly morning in the museum’s Crown Family PlayLab. The PlayLab is geared toward young children. However, children of all ages and abilities can learn and create with tactile opportunities and sensory tools.
The event is for children with disabilities as well as any sensory processing needs. Their siblings, family members and caregivers are also welcome.
Sensory Saturdays are free with advance registration. Space is limited to 40 guests so families can enjoy a crowd-free space.
To register, email accessibilityeducator@fieldmuseum.org. For more information, visit the Field Museum website.
