Sensory Ignite Peoria – Sensory Sensitive Interactive Steam Event and Resource Fair

A free, sensory-sensitive event to learn about and enjoy art, music, science, robotics and more

The Heart of Illinois Special Recreation Association (HISRA) invites you to the “Sensory Ignite and Resource Information Fair” on Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sensory Ignite is a sensory-sensitive version of Ignite Peoria, an event designed to “ignite” your inner artist by experiencing art, music, dance, science and innovation through up-close presentations and hands-on maker stations.

At Sensory Ignite, individuals with disabilities and their families will enjoy:

• Sensory-friendly activities in a controlled and quiet environment
• A resource fair with information and representatives from organizations serving the region
• A quiet room for anyone wanting to take a break
