“Sensory Friendly Science Time” at the Science Center
Free sensory-friendly science time for people who need a calmer and quieter opportunity to explore
Join the St. Louis Science Center for “Sensory Friendly Science Time” on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Experience hands-on STEM learning in a calmer and quieter environment.
Sensory Friendly Science Time provides sensory-friendly activities and an opportunity to explore with lower lights and less noise throughout the building. Other features will include:
- Turning off the roaring T-Rex and the ball machine in the main lobby until 1 p.m.
- Reducing the volume and lighting for the 12 p.m. OMNIMAX show
- Lowering the noise level for the Energy Stage Show at 12:15 p.m.
- Offering sensory bags, headphone zones and quiet areas
