Sensory-Friendly Night and Back-to-School Event at the Zoo in Springfield

A free, sensory-friendly night at the zoo and back-to-school event for children with autism and their families

Autism Support of Central Illinois (ASCI) is hosting a “Sensory Friendly Night & Back to School Event at Henson Robinson Zoo” on Aug. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m.

ASCI board members will hand out backpacks (while supplies last) to make sure everyone is ready to head back to school.

Families may also enjoy riding the train between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Admission is free for children with autism and their families. Registration is required.
