Sensory-Friendly Morning at the City Museum in St. Louis
A sensory-friendly event for people of all ages with autism and sensory processing disorders
Join Easterseals Midwest for “Sensory-Friendly Morning at the City Museum” on Jan. 27 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Climb, slide, jump and play in the many unique areas the City Museum has to offer!
The event is open to people of all ages with autism and sensory processing disorders. To make the event as sensory-friendly as possible:
- The museum will adjust lighting and audio where possible.
- Trained Easterseals staff will be on hand.
- There will be a limit on the number of people allowed in.
Individuals will have access to a calming space on the second floor. Noise-canceling headphones are recommended for people sensitive to sounds.
Children must have adult supervision during the event. The fourth floor, MonstroCity, gift shops, and food/beverage stands will be closed.
Admission is $1 for anyone age 3 and older.
Register online on the Easterseals Midwest website. Registration is recommended.
Complimentary parking will be available until 9:30 a.m. in the City Museum lot. After 9:30 a.m., parking will be $15 per vehicle.
