Sensory-Friendly Mañanas en el Museo Event in Chicago

A free, sensory-friendly event for families with children with autism and other sensory sensitivities

Join the National Museum of Mexican Art (NMMA) for Mañanas en el museo on July 8 from 9 to 11 a.m. The Museum opens to the public at 10 a.m.

Experience the museum before it opens to the public.

Families and their children can enjoy:

• Touring the galleries
• Activities and art-making for all ages and developmental levels
• Taking sensory breaks in the Museum’s quiet space

The Museum also offers a sensory-friendly NMMA for All app to help you prepare for your visit. Designed for guests with autism and sensory processing disorders, the app helps make NMMA more accessible to all guests.
