Sensory-Friendly Hours at Springfield’s Kidzeum

Low lights and sounds for children with special needs and their families.

The new Kidzeum of Health and Science in Springfield has started a sensory-friendly program. Twice a month, the museum will turn down the lights and sounds to allow families with children of different abilities to play in the museum before or after regular hours, depending on the date.

Sensory times is currently scheduled for Feb. 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
