Sensory-Friendly “Experience Rockballet” in Springfield
A free ballet experience for families with children and/or caregivers of individuals with neuro differences and sensory needs
The University of Illinois (UIS) Springfield Performing Arts Center is hosting two “Experience Rockballet” performances on Feb. 9.
The shows will be:
- 10 to 11 a.m.
- 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Both performances will be at the UIS Performing Arts Center, One University Plaza, in Springfield.
“Experience Rockballet” will provide a sensory-friendly experience for all ages in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
It will feature dancers from the Copper Coin Ballet Company performing to the music of the rock band Queen.
Free tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
