Sensory-Friendly Evening at the Zoo in Springfield
A free, sensory-friendly night at the zoo for children with autism and neuro-differences
Join Autism Support of Central Illinois (ASCI) for “ASCI Zoo Night” on Sep. 16 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Families and their children with autism and other neuro-differences can enjoy the zoo in a calmer, quieter environment.
Activities will include:
- Tables with sensory-friendly animal encounters
- Train rides from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The event is free, but you must sign up in advance.
