Self-Determination and Transition Skills for Transition-Aged Youth Training in Chicago

Youth who practice self-determination skills have better outcomes in school and for their overall quality of life.
A team of IL-LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities) trainees in partnership with UIC’s Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) is hosting this free training and lunch event on March 13.
The training aims to help youth, family members and providers learn how to build self-determination skills to plan for adulthood.
The training will take place at two locations that will be linked together via video:

Participants should RSVP for each person who will attend on the training registration webpage. The deadline to register is Feb. 22.
