A virtual support group meeting focusing on internet safety for youth and young adults with disabilities ages 14 to 30

Do you use social media?

The internet is a great way to learn and connect. It can also put your safety and privacy at risk.

The Southern Illinois Transition Project Self Advocacy Virtual Support Group invites youth and young adults with disabilities to join this discussion on staying safe online on Aug. 13 from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. This group is for ages 14 – 30.

Join self-advocate John P. and others to learn together about using the internet safely. If you send and receive emails or do research on the internet, be sure to join this session.

This group is a place to learn more about self-advocacy and supporting each other while making your voice heard.

For more information, contact Raagan Carey at (217) 348-3869, ext. 207, or reagancarey@ctfillinois.org.
