A free, in-person conference on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and resilience in Bloomington-Normal

Join Prevent Child Abuse Illinois for the Second Annual Prevent Child Abuse Illinois ACEs and Resilience Conference on April 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Focusing on ACEs and resilience, this conference will feature two internationally recognized speakers and a screening and facilitated discussion of the documentary “Resilience: The Biology of Stress and The Science of Hope.”

Linda Chamberlain, PhD, has worked in the field of brain development, stress and trauma for over two decades. Her current focus is on brain-body practices that work top-down and bottom-up to address how stress and trauma are stored in the body.

Nate Evans Jr. is a mental health advocate and the founder/CEO of The Nathan Evans Jr Group LLC. Nate is on a mission to eradicate the stigmas around mental health.
