Rockford Be Strong Families Parent Cafes

Training session for parents who are involved with DCFS.
YWCA La Voz Latina Parent Cafes engage parents in meaningful conversations about what matters most – their family and how to strengthen that family by building protective factors. The Parent Cafes are focused on building the five researched-based protective factors that lessen the negative effects of trauma.
This training session focuses on Knowledge and is Feb. 15 at 10:30 a.m.
Parents must RSVP two weeks prior to scheduled session. RSVP by calling or emailing Jordyn at firstname.lastname@example.org or (815) 968-9681, ext. 318. CYCIS (Child and Youth Centered Information System) ID is required prior to training. No other referrals or paperwork is necessary.
There is no cost to attend the Parent Cafés and snacks will be provided. Child care will not be provided during the session, so parents must make alternate arrangements in advance. All sessions will be facilitated in English. Please call for questions regarding Spanish-speaking participants who may be interested in attending.
