Riverton School District Parent University

One-night event for for parents and caregivers providing connections to information and resources for families

The Riverton School District will host Parent University on April 19 from 6 to 9 p.m.

This free event will provide an evening of building connections, dinner, fun for the kids, and learning.

Parents and caregivers can visit with representatives from a wide variety of organizations beginning at 6 p.m. Representatives will provide information and answer questions about their services.

At 7 p.m.,  the adults will move to the classrooms. Representatives will present on a variety of topics based on feedback from the community and families:

• Classes will be at 7:15 p.m., 7:50 p.m. and 8:25 p.m.
• Dinner will be available in the first classroom
• Participants can choose from classes on a variety of important topics

Our Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) staff will be there to explain how our free care coordination can support children and young adults with special healthcare needs and their families.

Kids will enjoy dinner, bounce houses and other entertainment.

Participants will also have a chance to win gift cards and other incentives.
