Resource and Agency Fair in Charleston
A free event featuring resources and services for people with disabilities
The Eastern Illinois Transition Planning Committee invites you to its “Resource and Agency Fair” on Nov. 30 from 1 to 3 p.m.
People with disabilities, their families, teachers and other professionals are welcome to attend.
Come and get a make-and-take folder with resource handouts. Then, browse through the agency booths. Talk with representatives from more than 15 agencies, including:
- The Department of Rehabilitation Services (DRS)
- Prairieland Services (PUNS)
- University of Chicago’s Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC)
DSCC helps children and youth with special healthcare needs and their families connect to services and supports throughout Illinois. Our representatives will be happy to answer your questions and provide information, including helpful tools for navigating the transition to adulthood.
