Red Kite: Acting & Movement Workshop in Chicago
A lively theatre workshop designed for young people ages 8 to 15 on the autism spectrum
Join the Chicago Children’s Theatre for the Red Kite Acting and Movement Workshop that will run on Wednesdays, Feb. 1 through 15, from 5 to 6 p.m.
The class is at the Chicago Children’s Theater, 100 S. Racine Ave., in Chicago.
This workshop is designed for youth with autism ages 8 to 15 and focuses on acting, movement and dance.
Activities will include ensemble-building and movement-based theatre games that will help participants build confidence in expressing their creative side while practicing social-emotional skills. The final workshop has participants share some of their favorite parts of the classes with their families.
