Pumpkin Palooza is an engaging Halloween experience for the whole family promoting play and learning that is fun, not frightening

DuPage Children’s Museum (DCM) is hosting Pumpkin Palooza on Oct. 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Come in costume and celebrate the season with DuPage Children’s Museum!

Pumpkin Palooza engages visitors in creative experiences that explore science, technology, engineering, art and math (S.T.E.A.M.) concepts through play.

Enjoy favorite museum exhibits with a fun fall remix inside that include:

  • Practicing pattern making with acorns
  • Designing your own frankentoy and wearable art in The Studio
  • Voting for your favorite pumpkin and trying your hand at Pumpkin Bucket Toss with BrickKicker Inspection Services.
  • Shaking your BOOty to family-friendly tunes from Bach to Rock-Naperville!

Outside check out:

  • Mixing and mashing your own gooey slime from pumpkin guts
  • Building a catapult to launch pumpkins and pinecones through the air
  • Saying “EEK!” as educators from DCM share spectacular science experiments
  • Create a clay skull with local artist Norma Rios-Sierra from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. while supplies last
