“Piecing It All Together: Youth Mental Health Conference” in Belleville
Conference for professionals, caregivers and family members focusing on youth substance use, trauma and mental health
Join Family Matters Parent Training & Information Center, Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center, Prevent Child Abuse Illinois and Chestnut Health Systems for the “Piecing It All Together: Youth Mental Health Conference” on June 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Participants will take a deep dive into youth substance use, trauma and mental health at this daylong conference.
Dr. Matt Buckman, a licensed clinical psychologist and executive director of the Stress & Trauma Treatment Center, will be the keynote speaker. Dr. Buckman has extensive experience working with victims of abuse and their families as they recover and heal from significant adversities.
The conference will also feature:
- Multiple breakout sessions
- A movie screening and panel discussion on vaping, drugs and alcohol use in the digital age
