PBS Kids Down Under at the Henson Robinson Zoo in Springfield

Celebrate all things Australia at this family-friendly event for all abilities!

Join WSIU PBS Kids and the Henson Robinson Zoo for “PBS Kids Down Under” on May 11 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Have fun at the Henson Robinson Zoo celebrating all things Australia.

Explore the zoo and see animals that are native to Australia, Africa, Asia, and North and South America. The zoo’s naturalistic exhibits house more than 80 species of native and exotic animals.

This family-friendly event will also include:

• Discovering interesting facts about Australia
• Photo opportunities with PBS KIDS costume character Malik from “Work It Out Wombats”
• Animal-themed arts and craft activities
• Free children’s books and other giveaways

Everyone is welcome to attend this event. It will take place rain or shine.
