PALS Inclusive Camp Experience in Elmhurst

An inclusive camp experience for people with and without Down syndrome (DS) ages 12 and up

Join Camp PALS for an inclusive camp experience at Elmhurst College on July 23-29.

For seven days and six nights, Camp PALS Chicago I participants will be paired with a volunteer counselor. Each pair will room together and be part of a small group team that will enjoy exploring:

• Unique on-campus activities that may include swimming, canoeing and karaoke
• Life on a college campus
• Local sights
• Building transformative, lifelong friendships

Camp PALS is open to young adults with Down syndrome ages 12 to 17 (15 to 17 for peers without DS) and 18 and up.  A licensed medical professional will be on-site throughout the week.

The cost of camp for participants with Down syndrome is $2,200. PALS works with every participant to ensure that cost is never a barrier to joining the PALS community. To request financial aid and learn about options, please contact PALS staff at support@palsprograms.org or (267) 477-7257.
