OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center Children’s Health & Safety Safari

Free event includes  40-plus activities for kids, safety vehicles, car seat check and screenings for parents.

OSF Saint Anthony Medial Center’s free Children’s Health & Safety Safari will take place Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Activities include the OSF Life Flight Helicopter, OSF Lifeline Ambulance, “What’s it Like to Have Surgery?”, police and fire department vehicles, free glucose and cholesterol screenings for parents and education on asthma, nutrition, burn prevention, injury prevention, early intervention, water safety, fitness, emotional health and more.

A car seat check will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at State and Roxbury.
