Day camp opportunities for early childhood, youth, teens and young adults with disabilities

Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association (NISRA) is hosting a wide variety of day camp options at several locations from June 13 to July 28. Camps are held Monday through Thursday.

NISRA camps are a great place for children, youth, teens and young adults with disabilities to grow in self-esteem, develop physical skills, enjoy arts and crafts, make friends, learn games and songs, and experience new places.

NISRA camps are not an extension of the special education curriculum, however, many children retain concepts from the school year through the summer months.

The deadline for registration is April 15.
