North Star Reach Transplant Camp-at-Home (Camp Michitanki)
Virtual camp for youth who’ve received a transplant and those with congenital adrenal hyperplasia
North Star Reach is a fully accessible medical camp that serves children with significant health challenges and their families, all at no charge to them.
North Star is offering a series of Camp-at-Home sessions for summer 2021. The sessions connect campers with similar medical conditions and provide community-building experiences through secure online gathering spaces.
Campers will enjoy an engaging lineup of real-time camp clubs with:
- Special guests
- Game-themed programs
- All-new camp-in-a-box experiences
- Cabin chats and more
These virtual programs are offered at no charge.
Transplant Camp (Camp Michitanki) is for children who have had a transplant and those with congenital adrenal hyperplasia. It will take place June 15-18.
The program is open to children ages 7-15 years old with this diagnosis.
