MDA Summer Camp 2023 in Hudson

A residential camping experience for children with neuromuscular disease between the ages of 8 and 17

The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) will host campers at Timber Pointe Outdoor Center in Hudson, Ill., from July 30 to Aug. 4.

MDA Summer Camp provides participants an opportunity to discover new interests, gain self-confidence, make lifelong friendships and experience the independence of being away from home in a safe, inclusive environment.

Camp activities are adapted for all abilities and include:

• Arts and crafts
• Sports and games
• Meeting new friends
• Traditional camp activities

Campers are paired with camp counselors to help with activities of daily living and personal care.

There is no cost to families.
