Low-Sensory Early Exploration at Museum of Science and Industry
A series of events dedicated to providing sensory-friendly time with Museum exhibits.
Low-Sensory Early Exploration mornings are free events at Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry where guests can explore featured exhibits in a less crowded and more sensory-friendly environment.
For one hour before the museum opens to the public, select exhibits will be open for registered guests who prefer a quieter, sensory-friendly experience. Low-sensory visitors will receive free entry to the rest of the museum when it opens at 9:30 a.m. The sensory-friendly accommodations to many exhibits will continue until noon.
The next Low-Sensory Early Exploration takes place from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Feb. 2.
The event will feature the U-505 Submarine walkthrough and Science Storms exhibit.
Participants much register in advance. Visit the museum website for more details and to sign up.
