“Life After High School” Event in Rockford
Young adults with disabilities can learn about a variety of issues to prepare for adulthood.
Topics to be discussed during the conference-style event include: transportation, voting, workplace readiness, education opportunities after high school, budgeting and Social Security benefits.
Student sessions will take place from 1 to 3:30 p.m., followed by a resource fair for students and their families, teachers and service providers from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
