Jackson County Winter & Flu Preparedness Health Fair

Families can receive flu shots and winter preparedness supplies.

The Jackson County Health Department invites families to the Winter and Flu Preparedness Fair on Nov. 6.

Services available will include:

• Flu shots
• Immunizations (Vaccines are at no cost for children who do not have insurance)
• Height and weight checks
• Vision and hearing screenings
• Information about WIC

Medicaid, Medicare and most insurances will be accepted.

Giveaway items include:

• Free blankets
• Socks
• Tote bags
• On-the-go emergency/flu kits

Representatives from UIC’s Division of Specialized Care for Children will be available to explain our services to families. Representatives from Molina Healthcare, Illinicare Health and the St. Louis Area Foodbank will also be present.

Refreshments will also be available.
