Introduction to Mindfulness: Virtual Winter Series
Interactive group sessions for children, teens, and young adults with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities
The Cognition, Behavior & Mindfulness Clinic (CBM) at the University of Illinois Chicago is offering weekly sessions that will practice mindfulness and acceptance skills while also discovering and focusing on values.
The sessions are virtual and for children, teens and adults with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities.
The Zoom sessions start Feb. 8 through March 7. The groups will meet twice a week.
The group session schedule is:
- Kids 6-11 years of age – 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Friday
- Teens 12-17 years of age – 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Friday
- Adults 18+ years of age – 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday
