Illinois Wheelchair Basketball’s Individual Skills Camp in Urbana-Champaign

Fine-tune your foundational wheelchair basketball skills at this camp for beginners and/or athletes ages 12 to 19

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) Wheelchair Basketball’s Individual Skills Camp will run from June 25-28. Check-in is on June 25 from 1 to 4 p.m. Check-out is on June 28 at noon.

This camp is for beginners and/or athletes who want to fine-tune their foundational wheelchair basketball skills. U of I coaching staff and student-athletes will provide hands-on instruction and a great experience for developing athletes ages 12 to 19.

Athletes must be physically and mentally prepared for the eight hours of daily training this type of camp presents. They must also be able to do daily living and mobility activities independently.

Camp organizers recommend using a manual day chair to move between the gym and the dorm.

The cost is $400 per athlete.
