Free one-week camping adventure for youth 11-16 who are blind or visually impaired.

Illinois School for the Visually Impaired (ISVI) summer camps present an overview of current trends in an area of concentration.  Have fun following a journey that uses time travel and transports you to the past and back to the present.  Explore old and new ways to bring STEM activities to life.  Students will learn exciting activities throughout the day and enjoy evening recreational activities such as swimming, field trips and outdoor recreation.

All camps are scheduled for June 10-16.

The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Camp will let campers apply problem-solving strategies using math and science skills, integrating technology and engineering with the use of robotics and team-building activities.

Students who are visually impaired ages 11 to 16 are eligible to attend if they reside in Illinois, do not current attend ISVI, are not high school graduates and have appropriate independent living skills. The camp is free to eligible students.
