Illinois School for the Visually Impaired 2022 Opening Doors Program
A free series of virtual and in-person events for parents, guardians and their children with visual impairments and additional disabilities
The Illinois School for the Visually Impaired (ISVI) invites you to join “Opening Doors 2022” on June 4 from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Come socialize and meet others at this in-person Opening Doors event in Bloomington-Normal at Heartland Church, 1811 N. Linden Church Road, in Normal.
The Opening Doors conference is a multi-day event for parents, guardians and their children with visual impairments ages birth to 5. Participants at this in-person Opening Doors program will enjoy lunch, activities and information on topics including:
- Ask the Doctor
- Guide Dogs
- Make-it-Take-it
Educational resource bags will also be available.
Register online to attend Opening Doors 2022. The registration deadline is May 15.

ISVI 2022 Opening Doors programs are also scheduled for:
- June 6-9 (virtual via Zoom) from 6:30 – 8 p.m. each night.
- June 10 (in-person) from 8:30 a.m. – 2p.m. at the ISVI campus.
