IlliniThon Dance Marathon at UIUC

UIUC students dance to raise money for HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital in Springfield.

IlliniThon is a year-long fundraising organization at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign that benefits HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital of Springfield. The fundraiser culminates in a 12-hour student-run Dance Marathon every spring.

Dance Marathon is a nationwide movement in which more than 250 colleges and high schools each raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network hospital in their area.

Throughout the year, IlliniThon hosts events on campus and throughout the city of Champaign that engage University students and families that are being treated at HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital.

This year’s Dance Marathon is scheduled for 8 p.m. April 1 at Campus Recreation Center East (CRCE).
