Hybrid – The Arc of Illinois’ Annual Convention

An in-person and online (hybrid) convention for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities, their families and providers

Join The Arc of Illinois for its 74th annual convention on May 1-2. This year’s theme is “Advocacy for All.”

There will be two full days of presentations and breakout sessions for online and in-person attendees.

This year’s hybrid event will include:

  • Keynote speaker Tom Pomeranz, PhD, on “Supported Routines – Best Practice Strategies for a Fulfilling Life”
  • A panel of parents sharing about “Advocacy from a Parent’s Perspective. The Difference You Can Make Now”
  • Sessions on a variety of topics in both English and Spanish
  • An art exhibit and silent auction

Representatives from the Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) will also present about our programs and the transition to adulthood for youth and young adults with special healthcare needs.

Virtual attendees will have access to the welcome, keynote, plenary and two breakout sessions.
