Training will outline guardianship and alternatives to guardianship.

Once a child reaches the age of 18, the parent is no longer the child’s legal guardian. Guardianship is a way to protect those who cannot take care of themselves, make informed decisions or handle financial assets. This training on April 14 in Effingham will outline guardianship and alternatives to guardianship that may be options if a person is capable of making some, but not all, decisions.
