A two-day, family-friendly kite festival in Springfield

Join the Springfield Park District for the Great Lawn Kite Festival at Southwind Park on:

  • July 1 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • July 2 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This two-day experience will feature professional kite flyers and dealers from around the nation demonstrating kite flying.

There will also be:

  • Kite vendors on site
  • Fireworks at dusk on Saturday
