Good Grief Day Camp in Big Rock

A week-long day camp for children ages 6 to12 who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling

Conley Outreach Community Services’ Good Grief Day Camp will be from June 24 to 28.  The camp is hosted at Farm Friends/ The McCannon Farm in Big Rock.

Good Grief Day Camp is a one-week experience designed specifically for children ages 6 to 12 who have experienced the loss of a parent or sibling. The camp uses the healing elements of music, theater, art and nature to help children on their unique grief journey.

It also provides:

• An opportunity to spend time with others who have experienced similar losses
• Help with the understanding that they are not alone in their grief
• Guidance in expressing their grief and feelings

The cost is $50 per camper/$100 per family. Scholarships are available.
