Give Kids a Smile

Dentists volunteer services to children without insurance or a dentist.

The Peoria District Dental Society and OSF Dental Residency Program team up to offer dental screenings, cleanings, and fluoride treatments. Children needing urgent care will be referred for services at Peoria City/County Health Department.

The Director of the Health Department’s Dental Clinic says many children who do not have regular dental checkups experience dental problems causing pain and missed school days. This program aims to educate families about dental care and prevent problems.
