Get Connected Caregiver Conference in Crystal Lake
A day-long conference where caregivers can connect, share and learn about future planning
Options and Advocacy for McHenry County, Inc invites you to the “Get Connected Caregiver Conference” on Feb. 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The conference is at First Church, 236 W. Crystal Lake Ave., in Crystal Lake.
The conference will include a keynote presentation on “Positive Psychology: Investing in Your Own Wellbeing” from 9 to 9:45 a.m. as well as lunch, networking opportunities, vendors and a variety of speakers, tracks and topics to choose from.
Breakout topics will include:
- The emotional journey of a new diagnosis
- Information on PUNS, resources and other benefits
- Foster parents/grandparents raising children
- Adult sibling panel
- Behavior: what does it mean and positive supports
The cost is $25 per person or $40 per couple.
