Support group for children in fifth through eighth grades to learn about friendships and social skills.
Florissa is a centralized service facility for children (0-18 years of age) with development, behavioral, social or emotional needs. The facility offers the “Friendships: The Middle School Years” program to help children in fifth through eighth grades learn about middle school friendships and the social skills they need to make and keep friends. This group is appropriate for children who struggle to make friends, children who have trouble understanding social relationships and children who lack awareness or appropriate behaviors with peers.
Friendships Support Group runs July 13 – Aug. 17.
