Join Prevent Child Abuse Illinois for the First Annual ACEs & Resiliency Conference on June 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The conference is at the Wyndham Springfield City Centre, 700 E. Adams St., Springfield.
Would you like to learn more about ACEs and resilience?
Hear from two outstanding speakers in the field as well as a panel of experts at this all-day conference.
The morning session, from 9 to 11:30 a.m., will feature Dr. Matt Buckman, Ph.D., who will help participants understand the impact of adversity and the power of resiliency.
In the afternoon session, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., Mark Sanders, LCSW, CADC, will help participants explore adversity and the building blocks of resiliency.
The afternoon will wrap up with a panel discussion on moving from adversity to resilience as a community.
