Family Fun Fair in Rockford

Free event with child-centered activities and special needs resources.

To celebrate the Week of the Young Child, families are invited to the annual Family Fun Fair from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Heartland Community Church in Rockford.

The fair will feature child-centered activities, a soap bubble artist, musical performance, face painting, a bounce house and community, educational and special needs resources. UIC Division of Specialized Care for Children staff will be there to speak with parents and caregivers about how we can support their family through their child’s journey with a special healthcare need.

Week of the Young Child, sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), is an opportunity for early childhood programs across the country to promote programs about Early Childhood Education.
