Family Celebration in Springfield

Free family-friendly activities and access to resources.

The Capitol Area Chapter of the Illinois Association for the Education of Young Children is hosting the family celebration as part of the third annual Week of the Young Child.

The celebration will be held at Erin’s Pavilion in Springfield on April 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Balloon animals, crafts, a photo booth and a Zumba class are among the family-friendly activities that will be available. Families will also have the opportunity to connect with local resources, including UIC Division of Specialized Care for Children.

Lunch will be available for $1 starting at 11 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
