A free, fun-filled afternoon of museum exploration for families of children with special needs

The “Everyone at Play” event takes place at the Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago in Glenview from 2 to 5 p.m. on Aug. 1.

Your family will have fun discovering the hands-on, interactive exhibits and the outdoor summer burst activities (weather permitting) including the:

  • Tiny Town Trike Track
  • Butterfly Tent
  • Art Studio
  • Math Trail

There’s a quiet room for stimulation breaks.  The Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy dogs and Maine in Heaven therapy horses will also be available. Museum staff and volunteers will provide support and guidance.

The museum exhibits are designed to encourage linguistic, cognitive, motor and social skills for children ages birth through 8.

For your health and safety, masks are required inside the museum.
