Registration for Adaptive Cycling starts at 2 p.m. Parents and siblings are encouraged to cheer for their cyclist along the cruise route. Please bring your own helmet and register for this portion of the event when you arrive. This event will be first-come, first-serve.

Hal from Project Mobility will be hanging out from 5 – 5:30 p.m. to answer any questions about adaptive cycles and will also be available to tune one up one that you already own.

Guests will also enjoy:

  • One-on-one interactive activities with trained, registered therapy animals
  • A quiet room for stimulation breaks
  • Play support and guidance with museum staff

The museum campus provides universal accessibility and exhibits that are designed to encourage linguistic, cognitive, motor and social skills for children ages birth to 8.

Register online to attend. Space is limited, and registration is required.

The museum offers a Parents Guide to Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago, in collaboration with North Shore Pediatric Therapy, to help parents and their children choose the exhibits they want to visit.
