“Everyone at Play” at Kohl Children’s Museum – POSTPONED
An afternoon at the museum for families of children with special needs to explore, learn and build memories
The Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago is hosting “Everyone at Play” on Jan. 16 from 2 to 5 p.m.
At this free event, families will be able to spend the afternoon exploring and experiencing:
- The museum’s 17 hands-on exhibits
- One-on-one interactive activities with trained, registered therapy animals
- A quiet room for stimulation breaks
- Play support and guidance with museum staff
The museum campus provides universal accessibility and exhibits that are designed to encourage linguistic, cognitive, motor and social skills for children ages birth to 8.
Register online here. Space is limited and registration is required. Per Cook County Department of Public Health Order 2021-11, proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required for all guests age 5 and older. Masks that cover the nose and mouth are currently required for all guests age 2 and older when inside the Museum.
The museum offers a Parents Guide to Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago, in collaboration with North Shore Pediatric Therapy, to help parents and their children choose the exhibits they want to visit.
