“Everyone at Play” at Kohl Children’s Museum
A free, fun-filled afternoon of museum exploration for families of children with special needs
The “Everyone at Play” event takes place at the Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago in Glenview on Nov. 14 from 2 to 5 p.m.
The museum campus is designed for universal accessibility. Families will have the opportunity to explore and experience:
- The museum’s 17 hands-on exhibits
- One-on-one interactive activities with trained, registered therapy animals
- A quiet room for stimulation breaks
- Play support and guidance with museum staff
The museum exhibits are designed to encourage linguistic, cognitive, motor and social skills for children ages birth to 8.
Space is limited and registration is required. Register online here.
For your health and safety, masks are required inside the museum.
The museum offers a Parents Guide to Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago, in collaboration with North Shore Pediatric Therapy, to help parents and their children choose the exhibits they want to visit.
