EP!C’s Host Homes program helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities find a home designed to encourage independence in the least restrictive environment. The program matches adults of all ages with host families in the communities of their choice. Participants receive support in a home setting, allowing them to become immersed in both community and home life.
The Bookmobile is a library on wheels featuring bestselling fiction, nonfiction, large print books, audiobooks, CDs, movies on Blu-Ray and DVD, video games and magazines. The Bookmobile makes 45-50 stops every three weeks. Patrons may put items on hold for pick up or browse the bookmobile selection to borrow their favorites.
The Bookmobile serves residents of Bloomington and the Golden Prairie Public Library District.
The event also includes an On-The-Go Story Time with Bloomington Public Libary Children’s Services for children ages birth to 11 years old and their caregivers. Enjoy stories, music and movement and fun activities.
Registration is not required.
