Empower All Abilities Conference in Springfield

The 12th annual Empower All Abilities Conference is scheduled for Feb. 22 at Southeast High School in Springfield.
This year’s conference topics include:
- Mental health
- Behavior
- Transition to adulthood
- Special education
- Advocacy
Participants can learn practical information about their children’s education and connect with other parents.
This year’s conference includes a kick-off message presented by Terrance Jordan, principal of Black Hawk Elementary School. He will share his road to success and how involved adults are one of the primary reasons he was able to overcome the many obstacles he faced in his life.
The conference also includes a series of three breakout sessions and a community resource fair with numerous exhibitors.
Free childcare will be provided at no charge.
Continuing education credits are available.
