Easterseals Night at The Penguin Project’s “Footloose the Musical” in East Peoria
A free theater event for the whole family featuring youth with disabilities
Join Easterseals‘ Night at The Penguin Project for “Footloose the Musical ” on Jan. 12. Doors open at 6:30 pm. The show begins at 7 p.m.
Young artists of all abilities will take the stage at East Peoria High School, 1401 E Washington St., in East Peoria.
Get ready to tap your toes and sing along to The Penguin Project’s production of “Footloose the Musical.”
Children with developmental and intellectual disabilities including Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, and visual and hearing impairments will appear on stage with their “peer mentor” volunteers. The actors have worked side-by-side through four months of rehearsals and are excited to present the final production.
