Springfield Public Schools and Springfield Parents for Students with Disabilities present the 10th Annual Disability to Possibility conference on Feb. 24 at Springfield Southeast High School.

The free event includes keynote speaker Patrick Schwarz, Ph.D., and other featured area professionals, including UIC Division of Specialized Care for Children’s Transition Specialist Darcy Contri and Family Liaison Violet Wiker, who will lead a breakout session focusing on the transition to adulthood in the area of health care. Participants will gain tips for a successful and healthy transition.

Other conference highlights include a community resource fair, information on how to complete necessary forms for local and state resources that are available to students with disabilities and the opportunity to connect with other parents.

Childcare will be provided at no charge. Continuing professional development units will also be available.
